TixLens
In collaboration with 3 team members, I designed an app that sources tickets from other platforms, organizing users' options in a transparent and secure way. This includes a budget-based color-coding system, upfront cost display even before checkout, and an check next to verified tickets. Overall, our testing with 60+ participants from our user group demonstrated a 30% reduction in time spent searching for a ticket compared to other platforms. The high-fidelity prototype on Figma can be found below.

App Prototype Functionality
The screen to the left is a two-factor authentication page to ensure that the user's account information is safe, reducing the susceptibility of revealing information to scammers. The "User Notice" message on the screen to the right reveals the app's policy of up-front pricing (disclosing hidden fees and taxes from the sourced platforms) and verification status for tickets.

The screen to the left is the “Budget Breakdown” page, which allows allows the user to set their budget preferences. The “My Account” screen to the right has a few key differences from any other platform. It helps access the "Budget Breakdown" page and see what sites are considered verified on TixLens. We also have a “How to Budget” page under "Guidance", providing budgeting information to users.

The screen to the left displays how the tickets and map are color-coded based on the budget set in the "Budget Breakdown" page. There are also check marks next to the verified tickets. When the user clicks "Filter", the screen to the right appears. It allows a user to filter the tickets based on budget and whether the tickets are verified among other things. There is also a recommended filtration, which sets the filter to the settings shown on the screen. It helps first-time users better utilize the optimization available in the app.

The “Seat Selection” screens to the left show how seats are also color-coded based on the user's budget. When a seat is chosen, the price is shown with any applicable fees and taxes. The source for the ticket is also displayed as well as whether is it verified or not. There is also a little graph show to the right of the price, which opens up the price trends for the selected ticket.

The “Notice” in the screen to the left is what pops up when a user tries to go to checkout to purchase an unverified ticket. It encourages users to think twice before purchasing from an unverified seller, statistically lowering the tendency of users to fall for scams due to impulsive purchasing. The “Checkout” page lists the price breakdown for the ticket, indicating all the fees and added costs. We also have a timer that tells the user how long their ticket will be put on hold for.
